Biography of Alessandro Puliti:
A Humble Beginning in Florence
Born on June 23, 1963, in Florence, Italy, Alessandro
Puliti’s early academic journey began with a passion for the natural sciences.
He pursued a degree in Geology at the University of Milan, graduating cum
laude in 1989. This foundation in earth sciences would lay the groundwork
for a remarkable journey through the global energy sector.
Entering the Energy World with Agip
After a brief stint at a geotechnical firm, Puliti joined Agip S.p.A. in 1990
as a Reservoir Geologist. In this role, he worked on oil and gas fields in
Italy and Africa, analyzing underground reservoirs. This period gave him
essential technical experience in upstream operations, particularly in
reservoir management and subsurface exploration.
