In the heart of Raipur, a vibrant city in Chhattisgarh,
a child was born on a crisp February 16, 1993. Pranjal Kamra entered the world
with a curious glint in his eye, unaware of the remarkable journey that awaited
him. His parents, Ravi and Madhu Kamra, were hardworking individuals, striving
to provide a comfortable life for their two children, Pranjal and his younger
sister Priyanshi. His mother works at Durga Mahavidyalaya College, Kapa,
Raipur.
Early Academic Struggles
From an early age, Pranjal's
academic struggles became apparent. Despite his best efforts, he found himself
lagging behind his peers in school. Reading was a daunting task, and numbers
seemed to dance tauntingly before his eyes. His timid nature and fear of
failure only compounded his difficulties; making him a target for ridicule
among his classmates. He did his schooling at Holy Cross Senior Secondary
School.
Venturing into Entrepreneurship
Yet, amidst the challenges, Pranjal
harbored dreams of greatness. He possessed an insatiable thirst for knowledge
and a burning desire to make something of himself. His love for comics provided
a temporary escape from the harsh realities of school life. At the tender age
of ten, Pranjal embarked on a bold venture, selling comics door-to-door in his
neighborhood. The initial rejections stung, but Pranjal persisted, honing his
communication skills with each interaction. Many times, no one buys his comic
books, but he never gave up and kept continuing his efforts.
Exploring Stock Market
As time passed, Pranjal's book sales were not that good, but his confidence and communication skills began to blossom. His improved communication skills caught the attention of his teachers, earning him opportunities to participate in debate competitions and extracurricular activities. At that time, Pranjal gained command of communication. Despite his academic shortcomings, his parents saw his potential and encouraged him to pursue a career in law because of his communication skills. However, Pranjal had different and very big aspirations. He was very serious about his life. He wants to start something his, but he doesn’t have any idea from where to start. A chance encounter with the stock market on television sparked a newfound interest in trading. With a modest investment from his father, he dipped his toes into the world of stocks, experiencing both triumph and failure. At that time, his father gave him 20,000 rupees to start his trading or investment.

Learning from setbacks
His initial success bolstered his
confidence, leading him to make hasty investments without proper analysis. At
that time, he took TVS Motors shares of around 5000 Rs and within less than a
year, this share climbed to an all-time high where TVS shares reached 10 times, so he got 50000
rupees in hand within less than a year. He bought TVS shares just because he
had a TVS bike without any fundamental analysis or proper research, but due to
his hard-core luck, he made a huge profit, and TVS stock became a multi beggar
for him. At that time, he feels like the king of the stock market, and Pranjal invests
heavily in many stocks without any fundamental analysis. Eventually, he faced
huge losses, which resulted in his capital being wiped out. The harsh reality
of the market taught him valuable lessons about risk and resilience.

Educational and Career Pursuits
By this time, he had completed his Bachelor of Law from Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur. Many of his college friends took good placements, but in his mind, something was going to be different. He wants something of his own. Undeterred by setbacks, Pranjal took admission for post-graduation in securities markets at the National Institute of Securities Markets, Maharashtra, while he started exploring new avenues for success. He delved into the world of digital media, starting his own YouTube channel and website. Previously, he put his efforts into blogging, but he badly failed, so this time he decided to experience luck in fields like YouTube and websites. For developing a website, he learned coding and developed his own website, but the real challenges were given by YouTube because, for making a single video, Pranjal spent the whole day. The reason behind that was that he did not have a good quality mobile, so he was required to take multiple shots because of the poor audio and video quality of the mobile. The journey was fraught with challenges – technical difficulties, a lack of resources, and moments of self-doubt. However, Pranjal refused to succumb to adversity, viewing each obstacle as an opportunity for growth. He made 60 videos but didn’t get good response from viewers. Many times, he fell down but never gave up. From every single video, he learned something new.
Rise to Prominence
In January
2018, Pranjal's perseverance bore fruit when one of his YouTube videos went
viral, catapulting him into the limelight. From there, his channel gained
momentum, attracting a dedicated following eager to learn from his insights
into the stock market and finance. With the support of his friends and 4 others,
he started his journey, and now there are more than 100 employees working under
him. Till then, he was making videos in his own house, but now he wants to
expand the branches of the tree, and fortunately, one day from the Ghatishgarh
incubation center, one person called him and said we wanted to help you for
that. First give a presentation to our panel. If we love your work, then we
will give you an office at the incubation center on behalf of the Government of
Chhatishgarh. Then Pranjal expanded his business. Gradually, success started to
touch his toes, and Pranjal founded Finology Ventures, a pioneering venture in
digital media. After a lot of hard work and setbacks, Pranjal achieved
tremendous success. In one interview, he said, “I reached this height because I
never had plan B in my mind, every single day, you will face new channelings
problems. Accept this and try to find a way to get out of it”.
Establishing Finology Ventures:
As Pranjal reflects on his remarkable
journey, he remains grateful for the lessons learned and the challenges
overcome. With his beloved partner Priya who is a lawyer by profession and
co-founder of Finology ventures, by his side since 2008, he continues to
inspire others with his wisdom and vision for a brighter future.In 2020,
Pranjal wrote 2 books that became very famous over time. The first is “ Mint
your money: An easy manual to unblocking your wealth” and the second one is
“Investonomy : The stock market guide that makes you Rich”. Till now ( 2024) ,
Pranjal has more than 60 lakhs subscribers on his YouTube Channel, where he
guides people on stock market/ finance related things and legal matters. In his
Finology venture, Pranjal heads the finance department, and priya heads the
legal department of his company.
