In Hong Kong, Geicke co-founded PAG (formerly Pacific Alliance Group), an investment management firm, in 2002. He served as executive chairman from 2002 to 2010, overseeing the firm's growth and success in navigating the complexities of the investment landscape. Under his leadership, PAG became one of the largest private investment firms in Asia, managing assets across private equity, real estate, private credit, and hedge funds. As of 2023, PAG manages approximately $55 billion in assets.

Simultaneously, in Vietnam, Geicke founded VinaCapital Group in 2003, serving as chairman until 2012. VinaCapital has grown to become a prominent investment management firm in Vietnam, managing assets totaling $2.7 billion and operating three primary funds listed on the London Stock Exchange: the Vietnam Opportunity Fund (VOF.LN), Vinaland Ltd. (VNL.LN), and Vietnam Infrastructure Fund (VNI.LN).

Leadership in Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City

Geicke's involvement in Vietnam extended to the development of Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City, a 25-story building complex inaugurated in 2017. Serving as chairman, CEO, and investor, Geicke played a pivotal role in the project's realization. The $130 million investment aimed to foster bilateral cooperation between Germany and Vietnam, providing a state-of-the-art commercial center that serves as a hub for German businesses in the region.

Philanthropic Endeavors and Social Impact

Beyond his business ventures, Geicke is committed to social causes through the VinaCapital Foundation, which he founded.
