Tariq Sayeed Saigol belongs to the prominent Saigol family,
long known for its diverse industrial involvement across Pakistan. He was
educated at Aitchison College in Lahore, then graduated from Government College
University, Lahore. He further pursued legal studies at University Law College,
Lahore. More recently, he also holds an undergraduate degree from McGill
University.

Saigol began his business journey in 1968 at Kohinoor’s
Chemical Complex in Kala Shah Kaku. After the group’s restructuring
(trifurcation) in 1976, he became Chief Executive of Kohinoor Textile Mills in
Rawalpindi. Since 1984, he has been serving as Chairman of the Kohinoor Maple
Leaf Group, overseeing interests in industries such as textiles, cement,
